Thinking of Retiring?

Teacher Assurance’s annual programme of financial advice seminars is underway. Based around the needs of those facing retirement, the seminars will give members advice on the issues they face in retirement such as:-

• What to expect from the Teachers Pension Scheme, State Benefits and other pension arrangement you may have and how to apply for them
  
• An update on the Hutton report and how this could affect those facing retirement
  
• Surrendering some of your pension for a larger lump sum
  
• Phased retirement
  
• Early retirement and
  
• Teaching beyond retirement

Teachers Assurance have invited both NUT members and their own customers and the response suggests that the events are proving as popular as ever. If however, members are unable to attend they are offered an individual consultation with an adviser.
